Community Support Groups
Bereavement Services of Charleston County
A listing of bereavement support groups through the tri-county area.
Services include grief support, telephone, and mail contact, volunteer support, referral to community services, a lending library, and a children’s grief program.
Trident Hospital
A Grief Support Group meets 2–3 p.m. Wednesdays at Trident HealthFinders. The group is for those dealing with the loss of a loved one. Call 797-3463.
Lunch Buddies Grief Support
For adults who have lost a loved one, meets 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m. Tuesdays at the Mourning to Morning Bereavement Center in North Charleston. Participants are welcome to bring their lunch. Call Lisa Anderson at Hospice of Charleston at 529-3100.
For adults who have lost a loved one, is offered quarterly by Hospice of Charleston. A pre-admission interview is required. The program is free but donations are accepted. Call 529-3100.
Pathfinders Gief Support Group
Meets at Moncks Corner Medical Center. The program is presented by Palmetto Health Hospice. The group is open to anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. Call 797-3463.
Angels of Ours
A perinatal loss support group, meets noon–2 p.m. Dec. 19 at Trident Community Center classroom. The group is for those dealing with the loss of an infant through miscarriage, stillbirth or early infant death. Call 797-3463.

East Cooper Meals on Wheels delivers daily nutrition to residents within the service area who are homebound or unable to provide their own meals.
