Rob Bennett and Deidre Blair founded Carolina Affordable Caskets. Deidre was widowed at a young age and left to raise a young child. She reflects: “ I have walked down the road of grief and was faced with many difficult decisions within the first 48 hours of my husband’s death, I questioned myself – “Did I make the best decisions when planning my husband’s funeral?”

Dedicating themselves to help others facing the same difficult decisions, Rob and Deidre studied the current funeral industry. Deidre has worked in a large funeral home in Florida, and planned personalized funerals, memorials, and visitations for families. She has been featured in several funeral industry publications, and has given lectures to Fortune 500 companies regarding her work in planning funerals.

Rob Bennett is a native Charlestonian with deep roots tied in the south. Rob has been in the sales and financial industry since graduating from the Univ. of South Carolina in 1983. He knows the exorbitant costs now facing the public in funeral fees. Rob is dedicated to helping families understand what they are purchasing when it comes to funerals. Their extensive personal and professional experience makes Carolina Casket Company unique in the funeral industry.
